Local Notes:

Clinton YMCA Resuming Dixie Youth … Yesterday I mentioned that the City of Laurens Parks and Recreation Department will resume Little League practice on June 1 and games on June 15… I also mentioned that I had thought the Clinton YMCA was also going to do the same with their Dixie Youth baseball and softball program but I would try to confirm that… Well I have confirmed that they will also be staring practice on June 1 and games on June 15… Further I was told that they do have some spaced in some of the leagues if you have a son or daughter who missed the initial registration and would like to participate… They ask me to tell you to call the YMCA at 833-1555 for more information about which leagues have available space and the procedure for registering your child or grandchild…. Play Ball!
