Theft of Concrete Lion

Christopher Earl Davis

Theft charges were served yesterday regarding alleged thefts this past week and over a year ago. The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office charged 38-year-old Christopher Earl Davis of Beach Springs Road, Pelzer with Petit Larceny, alleging he took a tiller attachment for a tractor and a cement yard ornament in the shape of a lion. These items, reportedly taken June 25th, were said to be valued at $1,200.

Mr. Davis was also served a Bench Warrant that states he failed to appear in court on April 17th of 2019 and was convicted in his absence of Petit Larceny, Enhanced.

While a $2,125 personal recognizance bond was set on the new Petit Larceny charge from last week, Christopher Earl Davis remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning with the sentence on the Enhanced Petit Larceny charge from last year to be dealt with. He was also on hold for Greenville County.
