Disorderly Incident on West Maple

Ryan Zane Jackson

A Laurens area man was arrested in Clinton yesterday following an alleged disturbance on West Maple Street. Clinton Police arrested 24-year-old Ryan Zane Jackson of Choctaw Street, Laurens and charged him with Public Disorderly Conduct and Malicious Damage to Personal Property.

Mr. Jackson is accused of conducting himself in a loud and boisterous manner, using obscene language where neighbors could hear him yesterday at a location on West Maple Street. He is further accused of causing a scratch of some 3-inches to the rear driver’s side panel as well as damaging the license plate on a victim’s blue Honda.

While $500 personal recognizance bonds were set on each of the two charges, Ryan Zane Jackson remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning. It appears he was being held for an additional charge of Resisting Arrest.
