Pro Sports:

Braves… For more information on the game(s) below, click on the score at the beginning.

  • Braves 29 – Marlins 9… Yesterday I mentioned to you that the Atlanta Braves were going to try to avoid being swept by the Miami Marlins last night in the last game of their 3-game series… Well boy did they avoid the sweep as they pounded out 23 hits (7of them homers) and scored a franchise record 29 runs in a 29-9 rout of the Marlins… The Braves fell behind early giving up 2 runs in the top of the second inning but responded by putting 11 runs on the board in the bottom of the inning and then went on to score multiple runs in each of the following innings except the bottom of the 8th… Adam Duvall had 3 homers for the Braves (one a grand slam) while Travis d’Arnaud, Ozzie Albies, Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuna Jr. each had a homer… The Braves start a long road trip tonight as they travel to Washington DC to take on the Nationals… I wonder if Falcons will score that many in their season opener Sunday against the Seahawks.
