At Tuesday Night’s Laurens County Council Meeting, council unanimously approved agreements for two new industrial investments in county.
The first was Resolution 2021-69C, which was a FILOT and incentive agreement for what is now only known as Project Rock.
According to County Attorney Sandy Cruickshanks, Project Rock will be a $20 million investment in the county with more details coming.
Resolution 2021-70C, and Ordinance 912, both paved the way for Project Blue, which Attorney Cruickshanks said will be a $19 million dollar investment.
As with Project Rock, more details will be announced at the next council meeting.
