On Wednesday 2-7-18 at CHS Haleigh Kuykendall and Kody Varn signed letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers.
Haleigh signed to attend Martin Methodist College in Tennessee and her sport is somewhat of a non-tradition sport not part of most high schools offerings and that is bowling… She has been a very active in tournaments throughout the south and has an average of about 210 with her best game a 279… She plans on majoring in Business and minor in Mathematics and hopes to become a financial manager and maybe even bowl professionally and/or in the Olympics.
Kody signed with Newberry College where he will play on the offensive line… He will be majoring in Sports Management and says he would like to become and athletic director one day.
