Conteras Signs With USC-Union

Wednesday morning (3-21-18) in the auditorium at CHS surrounded by family, friend, parents and teammates, senior goalie Tania Conteras signed a letter of intent to continue her education and soccer career next year at USC-Union playing for the Bantams… Tania has been playing soccer for the Red Devils for at least three years even though this is the first year for girls’ varsity soccer at CHS… Two years ago she played goalie for the JV boys’ team and last year for the first year JV girls’ team… This year the program transitioned to a varsity and JV program and she has become a leader on the pitch for the Red Devils… She also very active around CHS and is a member of the ROTC program… At this point in the season the team is 3-2 on the year… She is the first goalie ever signed by USC-Union… To go to a video interview with her after the signing, click here… There are a few photos at its end made yesterday also… Congratulations to Tania!
