Resisting Arrest, Assaulting & Spitting At Police

A Prisoner Throwing Bodily Fluids is one of the charges on a woman arrested by Fountain Inn Police Friday. 39-year-old Christina Marie Foreman of 201 Chapman Road, Fountain Inn was also charged with Assault and Battery 3rd Degree on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest.

Fountain Inn Officer Hill states that she was struck in the shoulder by Ms. Foreman Friday. Officer Mavar states that Ms. Foreman knowingly and willfully resisted arrest after assaulting a police officer, having to be physically removed from her residence, not walking on her own power and that she attempted to pull away from officers who were escorting her from her residence on Chapman Road. In a third warrant, Officer Mavar states that while Ms. Foreman was in a locked Fountain Inn Police holding cell at 300 North Main, Ms. Foreman did willfully and knowingly spit on a uniformed officer.

Personal recognizance bonds totaling $3,000 were set on the 3rd Degree Assault and the Throwing Bodily Fluids charges. Christina Marie Foreman remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning with a cash or surety bond of $2,500 set on the Resisting Arrest charge.
