On Tuesday, February 11, 2020 Laurens School district 55 announced that Daryl Smith has been selected to be the next head football coach at Laurens District 55 High School (LDHS). Coach Smith was the defensive coordinator on this past season’s Raider football team that won the Region I-AAAAA Champion ship going 7-0 in region play and 9-2 overall.
