
Hakeem Qudell Evans
Hakeem Evans is now in Laurens County’s Johnson Detention Center, charged in connection with shooting and killing a man on Walker Avenue outside Laurens around 3 o’clock in the morning of January 23rd. 30-year-old Hakeen Qudell “Lil C” Evans of Jackson Street, Laurens was arrested by the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s office the morning of February 11th and charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Pistol and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He had also reportedly had an encounter with Mauldin Police.
Here in Laurens County, Hakeem Evans is charged with Murder plus three counts of Armed Robbery, two counts of Grand Larceny and two counts of Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime.
Evans is accused of causing the death of Rasham Walker by shooting him multiple times in the head and torso and of taking money, a book bag and a watch from him while armed with a 40 Caliber handgun on January 23rd this year. He is also accused of a robbery last year on August 12th at a Highway 221 north location. There, he allegedly took $4,000 along with two cell phones and a 2004 Ford Ranger from two victims while he was armed with a handgun.
Hakeen Qudell “Lil C” Evans was held overnight in the Johnson Detention Center, awaiting a bond hearing on his Laurens County charges.
