Help with Online Filing for COVID Vaccination

The process for registering to get a COVID Vaccine can be a challenge, between negotiating the internet and follow-up. Without good internet coverage, it’s even worse. Laurens’ First Baptist and First Presbyterian Churches are partnering to address the problem. They’ve announced that, starting next week, they will be helping people get registered for their COVID vaccine.

If you or someone you know qualifies to receive the vaccine but needs assistance registering online, volunteers will be standing by to help them secure an appointment online at First Baptist Church Laurens.

The registration assistance is in cooperation with Prisma Health and their vaccinations conducted at the Ridge in Laurens.

People whose last name begins with the letter A thru L should come on Monday afternoon from 1 until 4. Folks with last names starting with M thru Z should come on Tuesday, also from 1 to 4 pm. You need to bring y social security number and a photo ID.

This assistance, helping people get registered for their COVID vaccine, is to continue through March. People with last names starting with letters A thru L on Mondays, people with last names starting with M thru Z on Tuesdays. The assistance is being provided at First Baptist, at the Family Life Center on Sitgreaves Street – that’s the side of 1st Baptist facing 1st Presbyterian Church.

This begins this coming Monday and Tuesday afternoons from 1 to 4.
