Meth & Oxycodone Discovered

A Laurens Police investigation Monday reportedly led to the discovery of Meth and Oxycodone. 35-year-old Steven Lamar Rowe II of Conway Avenue, Laurens was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Possession of another Controlled Substance.

One warrant cites an investigation of Sgt. McMahan as indicating that on April 26th during a domestic investigation on North Harper Street in Laurens, Mr. Rowe was found to be in possession of approximately 1.7 grams of a clear crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine. In addition, he was allegedly found to be in possession of six blue tablets, identified as 30 mg oxycodone.

With cash or surety bonds set totaling $25,000 on the two charges, Steven Lamar Rowe II remained in the Johnson Detention Center this morning.
