Meth Possession, Contraband to Prison

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office has charged a woman with attempting to furnish contraband to a prisoner in the county’s detention center Monday of this week. 28-year-old Brittany Eileen Huckabee of Highway 39, Mountville was charged Tuesday with two counts of 3rd or Subsequent Offense, Possession of Methamphetamine and with one warrant charging her with Furnishing contraband in a county prison.

Warrants citing an investigation of Deputy Hilderbrandt state that on May 10th Ms. Huckabee did knowingly and willingly possess 3.5 grams of meth that was discovered when a search was conducted in Laurens County’s detention center. The search in detention also allegedly discovered .4 grams of meth in a cigarette wrapper and she’s alleged to have attempted to pass meth to another subject headed to jail.
