Fraudulent Dealings Involving Autos

Fraudulent dealings involving two vehicles last September were cited with an arrest last week. 26-year-old Scott Nicholas Curtis of York Street, Clinton was charged Thursday with Breach of Trust with Fraudulent Intent. Warrants states that on or about September 20, 2020 Curtis took a 1997 Buick Skylark valued at $500 and a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan valued at $2,000, both belonging to a victim. With permission of the victim, he allegedly took them to scrap and/or be fixed in return for money or replacement vehicle, neither of which the victim received. Mr. Curtis has since been released from the Johnson Detention Center.
