  • JV Game Broadcast Tonight…  Since there is no varsity football this week, we are planning on broadcasting the Greenville at Laurens JV football game tonight that is scheduled to kickoff at 6:30 tonight (weather permitting)… If you tune in about 6:05 we will also try to have some of the Friday Night Insider audio available and playing between then and the kickoff… By the way the game can also be seen on the NFHS Network and for more information about that click here… Go Raiders… Laurens Raiders that is!
  • Volleyball: Greenville 3 – Laurens 0… The Laurens Raider volleyball team played host to another set of Raiders Tuesday night as they took on the Greenville HS Red Raiders… The two teams meet previously in September up in Greenville and in varsity action the Red Raiders took a 3-0 win that night… Last night the Red Raiders once again took a 3-0 win over Laurens but the set scores were much closer… Greenville won by set scores 15-25, 22-25 and 20-25 all of which were much closer that the last time the two teams got together… Laurens actually tied the second set 22-22 before Greenville ran off 3 unanswered points to take the win… In the third set, Laurens got as close as 20-22 before Greenville ran of 3 points to take the set and the match… Coach Kelsey Harp noted the improvement in her team since the last time the two schools meet and how the Raiders never gave up and battled Greenville to the end.
  • JV Volleyball: Greenville 2 – Laurens 1… In JV action prior to the varsity match, Greenville was victorious by a score of 2-1… The Raiders started slow in the first set and fell 17-25… However they rallied and took the second set 25-23… The third and deciding set went to Greenville by a score of 15-10 as Laurens was as close as 11-9 before Greenville closed it out to take the win… The Raiders will have their last home match of the regular season today as they host the Eastside Eagles with JV action starting at 5:30 and varsity at 7:00… They will also honor their seniors before the varsity match…  By the way the game can also be seen on the NFHS Network and for more information about that click here
