Clinton Man Behind Bars On Multiple Charges

A Clinton Man is behind bars on Multiple Charges. Friday the Clinton Police Department arrested 41-year-old Travis Aaron Jarnagin of Davis Street and charged him with Failure to Stop For Blue Lights, Driving Under Suspension 2nd Offense not for DUI, Reckless driving, and Violation habitual offender act. The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office charge Mr. Jarnagin for Drugs Distribution of Methamphetamine 3rd Offense. According to the arrest warrant, Mr. Jarnagin allegedly was driving reckless operating a Motorcycle. He allegedly was using excessive speed, disregarding traffic control devices and by not having a valid driver’s license.  Mr Jarnagin accelerating the motorcycle at a high rate of spend in an attempt to elude the law enforcement. This allegedly happened July 19th. On July 28th Mr. Jarnagin allegedly had in his possession a quantity of a white crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine in a plastic baggie. He has two prior convictions of distribution of methamphetamine.  Travis Jarnagin remains in the Laurens County Johnson Detention Center this morning.
