Clinton Man Accused Of Failing To Stop For Blue Lights and PWID Marijuana

The Clinton Police Department arrested a Clinton Man Tuesday for alleged Failure to stop for blue lights and PWID Marijuana. 30-year-old Roderick Jamar Young of Africa Lane was arrested for the alleged charges. On Tuesday Mr. Young allegedly failed to stop for blue lights attempting to elude and evade law enforcement. He allegedly had in his possession a quantity of marijuana weighing over 28 grams. He has had at least one prior conviction for a drug related offense. This occurred within the city limits of Clinton. Roderick Jamar Young has since been released from the Laurens County Johnson Detention Center with a paid cash or surety bond total of $12,000.
