Larceny and Trespassing Alleged For Laurens Man

Larceny and Trespassing is alleged for a Laurens Man. Tuesday the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old James Woodrow Mcalister of Deering Street for the alleged charges. On July 10th Mr. Mcalister allegedly carried away a moped which is valued at $1,500 with the intent to permanently deprive the owner of the property. This alleged incident occurred at Dragon Trail In Laurens. On that same day of July 10th he allegedly entered on another’s pasture or other lands after notice in that he was caught on a trail camera trespassing on a property which is posted as required. On the clear cut path that he was walking, there are more than 8 posted not trespassing signs on the land. This incident occurred on Rocky Springs Road. James Mcalister remains in the Laurens county Johnson detention center this morning.
