Piedmont Man Behind Bars For Alleged Larceny And Trespassing

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Piedmont man Thursday for alleged Grand Larceny, Petite Larceny, and Trespassing. 43-year-old, Jason Heath Berry, of Griffin Road was arrested for the alleged charges. According to arrest warrants, on August 22nd, Mr. Berry allegedly was captured on camera being on a property located on Watts Bridge Road belonging to the victim. The land is posted with No Trespassing Signs. August 24th, Mr. Berry allegedly took a 2020 dual axle Diamond cargo trailer and a SC permanent tag all belonging to the victim. Jason Berry has two prior property crime convictions. This incident happened at Pineland Shores Circle in Cross Hill. Jason Berry remains in the Laurens County Johnson Detention Center this morning.
