The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a driver died after crashing an ATV in Greenwood County early Thursday morning. According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt The accident happened around 5:35 a.m. on Morgan Road in Ware Shoals. The driver was heading south on Cochran Road in Ware Shoals when they crossed over to Morgan Road, went off the right side of the road, striking some trees. The driver was ejected and died on scene, according to Highway Patrol. The Greenwood County Coroner’s Office identified the driver of the ATV as 25-year-old Dakota James Edwards.
