Arm Robbery Gone Wrong, Victim Fighting For His Life

A Gray Court Woman is behind bars at the Johnson Detention Center for an Arm Robbery gone wrong. According to WSPA news, the victim is fighting for his life.

The Laurens Police Department arrested 22-year-old, Chyanna Latimore, of Herron Drive,  Tuesday for Strong Arm Robbery and Assault and Battery Of A High and Aggravated Nature.

According to the arrest warrants, Latimore was using her vehicle as tax-cab service. She was allegedly dropping off the customer when she saw the victim with a large amount of cash. She allegedly asked the victim if she could take a picture with the money. The victim allowed her to do so, that’s when Latimore decided to take off with the money in her car. The victim was able to grab her steering wheel while Latimore dragged the victim an unknown amount of feet down the road. The Victim was airlifted to Prisma Of Greenville. He is currently on a ventilator. LPD were able to get $1,600 of the victim’s money back. LPD think that the victim originally had 2,220 in cash.

 

Chyanna Latimore remains behind bars this morning. Her Bond is $200,000. She could be charge more if the victim’s condition worsens.
