Four People Charged With Ill Treatment Of Animals In General, Torture

Deputies with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested four people of Bob White Drive, Waterloo for Ill Treatment of animals in general, torture. 72-year-old, Louise Riser, 26-year-old Christopher Mcmahan, 23-year-old Anthony Drake Dearman, 22-year-old, Makenzie Cheyenne Dearman were all arrested Friday May 19th for the alleged charges. All Four were given two counts of Ill treatment of animals in general, torture. According to their arrest warrants reports, on May 15th, all four are accused of forcing a dog and puppy in their car quality and control, to stay outside without access to potable water and further allowed them to become so skinny that the hips, ribs, and spine were showing and they were eating pine needles and dirt dues to being so hungry. This allegedly occurred on Bob white Drive in Waterloo. Louise Riser, Christopher Mcmahan, Anthony Dearman, and Makenzie Dearman were all released from the Laurens County Johnson Detention Center on a personal recognizance bond.
