County Attorney Sandy Cruickshanks announced at Monday night’s Laurens County Council Meeting that he will be retiring on December 31st of this year.
Cruickshanks has been the county attorney for the last 31 years, he said that “Twelve, three one, two three, so after one two three, I will be gone!”
He said that he was looking forward to retirement and thanked everyone who responded with a standing ovation.
