The Laurens County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that two people were killed in a crash on Sunday morning. The coroner reported to WYFF that the crash happened Sunday around 10 a.m. on Interstate 385 near mile marker 16.
According to the coroner, this crash involved a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer. The coroner says two people have died from this crash.
Traffic was backed up for miles, and travelers were being routed off Exit 10 from Interstate 385 as it was blocked off from exit 10 to exit 16 while crews worked to clear the scene of the crash.
