Entrepreneur Kevin Nolan ’00 to deliver 2023 Truist Lecture at PC

Presbyterian College alumnus Kevin Nolan ’00 will deliver the 2023 Truist Lecture at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, in Neville Hall’s Kuhne Auditorium.

Nolan is the founder of Sope Creek Capital, a Georgia-based firm that enables entrepreneurs to succeed by providing investment capital and strategic guidance.

Sope Creek Capital is the latest in a series of business ventures started by Nolan. In 2005, he founded Nolan Transportation Group, a third-party logistics company that provides freight brokerage services to more than 7,000 businesses throughout North America. Beginning in a small office with a box of cash and only two employees, NTG now has 13 offices nationwide.

Nolan began his career as a freight broker for C.H. Robinson before leaving the industry to manage multiple Waffle House stores. He finished that career as the top sales manager across the company and was honored with the Top Waffle Award.

In addition to his bachelor’s degree in business from PC, Nolan earned a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University in Macon, Ga.
