SILVERSTREET MAN ACCUSED OF 2 COUNTS OF ASSUALT AND BATTERY 3RD DEGREE

Deputies with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested a Silverstreet man and charged him with two counts of Assault and Battery 3rd Degree. 39-year-old, Jason Leon Herbert, Sr, of Green Acres Lane, was arrested September 14th for the alleged charge. According to the arrest warrant report, August 15th, 2023, Herbert allegedly struck the victims in their face and body with a closed fist as welling as slamming a victim’s face into the ground. The attack caused a  victim to bleed profusely from the face and also had to seek medical treatment. This incident occurred don Charlotte’s Road in Clinton. Jason Herbert, Sr was released from the Detention September 16th with a bond.
