Cross Hill Woman Use Of Vehicle Without Permission And Switching Plates

A Cross Hill woman was recently arrested accused of Use of Vehicle without permission with intent to deprive and Removing license plate to conceal or misrepresent identity of owner. 39-year-old, Margaret Susan Renee Small, of South Main Street, was arrested for the alleged charge. According to the arrest warrant, on November 3^rd, 2023, without the consent of the owner and with intent to deprive, allegedly took a Chevrolet Tahoe. She removed the vehicle from the property after affixing a license plate from another vehicle in an attempt to deprive the victim from access to operable vehicles. Margaret was released from the Detention Center with a paid bond Tuesday November 14^th.
