- JV Baseball: JL Mann 7 – Raiders 3… The Raider JV baseball team was one of the teams that managed to get their game in last night as they hosted the JL Mann Patriots at Ed Prescott Field… For the first time this season I have to report that the Raiders lost a game as Mann took a 7-3 win… The Raiders scored early bit could not hold the lead… The Patriots outhit the Red Devils 6-4 and three Red Devil pitchers issued 8 walks and a couple of hit batters that the Patriots used to their advantage to help score their runs… Preston Dixon was the only Raider with more that ne hit as he went 2 for 3 and drove in the Raiders first run… Click here to see the box score of the game and click here to see the scorebook to see how the runs were scored…The team is now 8-1 on the season… They are scheduled to travel to JL Mann tomorrow at 6:00 pm.

Thornwell
- Baseball: Saints 20 – Chiefs 2… The Thornwell Saints were also able to get their game in at McCormick taking on the Chiefs… I’m glad to report that the Saints scored 12 runs in the first inning and then went on to take a 20-2 win in 3 innings… The Saints only outhit the Chiefs 5-3 but I also need to point out that 2 Chief pitchers walked 18 batters while striking out just 3 Saints… They also had 5 wild pitches and a couple of hit batters… Believe it or not, neither team was charged with an error… Looks like the Chiefs had serious pitching problems yesterday… Parker Workman was the only Saint with more than one hit as he went 2 for 2 with a double and 2 RBIs… He also drew 2 walks… Zach Crowe only had 1 hit but it was a triple and he walked once and is credited with 2 RBIs… Click here to see the box score of the game and click here to see the scorebook to see how the runs were scored… The team is now 4-7 on the season.
