  • JV Baseball: Clinton 10 –Chesnee 0 (5)… Before the varsity game yesterday, the JV team also hosted the Eagles of Chesnee and the news is good here also as they took a 10-0 win over the Eagles… The Red Devils wasted little time dispatching the Eagles as they scored 7 runs in the 1st inning and never looked back… The Red Devils simply outhit the Eagles 6-0 and 2 Eagles errors, 7 walks issued by two Eagle pitchers as well as 5 wild pitches all aided the Red Devils cause… Rhett Gilliam was the only Red Devil with more than 1 hit as he went 2 for 2 with 2 doubles and drove in one run… Talon Campbell picked up the win pitching 4 innings striking out 4 and walking none and Angel Vargas pitched the last inning striking out 1 and walking none… Click here to see the box score of the game… The team is now 7-3 on the season.

  • Baseball: Dixie 29 – Saints 0…While the softball team was over at Dixie, the baseball team hosted the Green Hornets which traditionally has a strong baseball program… It looks like they might have one again this season as they held the saints hitless while they banged out 25 hits and rolled to a 29-0 win over the Saints… Click here to see the box score of the game and click here to see the scorebook to see how the runs were scored .
