  • JV Baseball: JL Mann 6 – Laurens 2… For the second time in 48 hours the Raider JV baseball team took on the Patriots of JL Mann this time in Greenville… I wish I had better news for Raider fans but I must report that the Patriots took a 6-2 win over the Raiders handing them only their second loss of the season… The Raiders scored both their runs in the 1st inning when Samuel Adams drove in both runs with a single… The patriots got their first 4 runs in the 2nd inning and then went on to take the 6-2 win… Three walks and a double accounted for the Patriots runs in the 2nd inning… The Raiders actually outhit the Patriots 7-6 but some untimely walks and clutch hitting by the Patriots were keys to their win… Logan Martin and Samuel Adams were the only two Raiders with more than 1 hit as they had 2 each and one of Adam’s was a double… Click here to see the box score of the game and click here to see the scorebook to see how the runs were scored… The Raider JVs are now 8-2 on the season and scheduled to travel to Westside tomorrow to take on the Rams at 11:00 am.

  • Baseball: Dixie 29 – Saints 0…While the softball team was over at Dixie, the baseball team hosted the Green Hornets which traditionally has a strong baseball program… It looks like they might have one again this season as they held the saints hitless while they banged out 25 hits and rolled to a 29-0 win over the Saints… Click here to see the box score of the game and click here to see the scorebook to see how the runs were scored .
