Just before noon the Laurens County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Springdale Dr and Williard Rd in the City Of Clinton. At the time of dispatch, the Coroner’s Office was advised that the MVA involved a City Of Clinton Fire Engine and that the deceased was one of the firemen aboard the apparatus. Deputy Coroner Bailey Williamson has identified the fireman as Micheal Vinson a 27-year-old male from Laurens. The Cause of Death is Pending Autopsy and investigation.
