  • Baseball: Crusaders 18 – Oconee Christian 0… Now in a score from Monday that I just received yesterday, the Laurens Academy Crusader traveled up to Oconee Christian to take on the Warriors… I think that the Crusaders might have carried their bats up there on top of engine or near the muffler because they came out swinging some hot bats as they scored 15 runs in the 1st inning and then rolled on to an 18-0 win over the Warriors in 3 innings… The Crusaders wound up with 14 hits in the game and they were all singles… I must also mention that that the Warriors did have 2 errors and their 2 pitchers hit 5 Crusader batters… All but 2 Crusader batters had hits the 14 hits with several having two hits… Elijah Hornberger drove in 4 runs of the Crusaders 13 earned runs with his two singles… Brayden Burke picked up the complete game win pitching a no-hitter while striking out 9 and walking just 4… Click here to see the box score of the game and click here to see the scorebook to see how the runs were scored… The team is now 4-5 on the season and will host Richard Winn Friday at 7:00 pm.
