A Second Suspect has been arrested with the connnection The May 11th shooting death at Ware Shoals Dragway.
Travis Dewayne Turner Jr. of Greenwood has now also been charged in connection to this incident. Turner has been charged with Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime. Turner was denied bond during a hearing yester
On May 11, 2024 the shooting incident occurred at the Ware Shoals Dragway. 17 year old Calvin Lamont Parker Jr. was shot and succumbed to his injuries.
On May 18th, Kendrick Beanard Makins of Greenwood was arrested in Abbeville County and charged with the murder of Parker.
