NBA

  • NBA Draft Completed… No for you casual NBA fans out there, the NBA completed its draft yesterday finishing out round 2… If you would like to see the order of the draft and who was drafted by each of the teams, click here
  • Bronny James DraftedOne interesting note from the draft in case you have not heard it already, Bronny James was taken as the #55 pick in the second round of the draft by the Lakers…Don’t know for sure but I think that his father who is LeBron James a member of the Lakers team may have had something to do with that pick… He let it be known that he would love to play basketball with one of his sons on the court with him… There is now the chance that could come to pass and if so, it would be the first time that a father and son would be in the game at the same time in NBA history… To read more about this click here.
  • PJ Hall Signs with the Nuggets… Another note from the NBA draft concerns a player who was not drafted… Clemson’s PJ Hall had reasonable expectation that his name would be called in the second round of the draft, but it was not… However very soon after the draft was finished it was announced that he had signed a two-way contract with the Denver Nuggets… You can read much more about this on the Greenville News by clicking here.

Atlanta Braves …For more information on the game(s) below, click on the scores.

  • White Sox 1 – Braves 1Last night up in Chicago the Braves made-up a game postponed by weather back in April… The White Sox scored a single run in the first inning on a solo homer by Luis Robert Jr. (8) and made it standup as they went on to take a 1-0 win over the Braves… The Sox had 4 hits and the Braves had 3 and Roberts was the only player on either team that had more than 1 hit as he went 2 for 3… Chris Sale (10-3) took the loss giving up the 1 earned run on 4 hits while striking out 11 and walking just 1 in 7 innings of work… The Braves return home tonight to start a home stand with the Pittsburg Pirates being the first team in for a weekend series.
