The South Carolina Highway Patrol announced that one person is dead and three others injured after a crash that happened Saturday evening on I-385 South in Laurens County.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 5:41 p.m. at mile marker 13.
A Chevrolet and Chrysler were traveling on I-385 South when the Chrysler collided with the Chevrolet. This caused the Chevrolet to travel off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, three occupants in the Chrysler were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Chevrolet passed away at the scene. At this time The Laurens County Coroner has not released the name of the victim .
