Joanna Man Accused Of Removing Wedding Rings From Victim’s Finger

The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested a Joanna man accused of Domestic Violence, 1st Degree. 39-year-old, Jonathan Chase Williams, of Milton Road, was arrested for the alleged charge on June 27th. According to the arrest report, on June 21st, Williams allegedly restrained and physically assaulted the victim as he removed wedding rings from the victim’s left ring finger. The victim was transported by family to the Laurens County Hospital and as a result suffered swelling to a finger and a fractured rib. The offense took place in the presence of two minor children. Jonathan Williams was released June 28th on paid cash or surety bond.
