Out In the Busy Intersection!

A disturbance in a busy Clinton intersection was noted Sunday afternoon and a Laurens County Deputy was dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 76 and Torrington Road west of Clinton. The officer reported observing a man in that intersection, dancing and yelling at vehicles. The officer also noted the subject had also been in a store at that intersection, causing a disturbance, yelling and threatening the employees. 52-year-old Gregg Norris Lemon of Drayton Street, Newberry was issued a citation charging him with Public Disorderly Conduct at 1:26 Sunday afternoon at Highway 76 and Torrington Road. Mr. Lemon was released Monday on a personal recognizance bond of $257.50.
