Gray Court Man Arrested For Domestic Violence And Unlawfully Place A Child At Risk

Deputies with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office recently arrested a Gray Court man accused of Domestic Violence, 2nd Degree and Unlawfully place a child at risk of or cause harm. 29-year-old, Lamoris Stoddard, of Georgia Road, was arrested for the alleged charge. According to the arrest warrant report, on November 7th, Stoddard allegedly struck the victim several times causing bruising to her knees and right hand. Stoddard allegedly used his feet to strike the victim in her stomach multiple times. Stoddard is also accused of causing harm to a minor child by striking the  child in the head, as he was holding her during a physical altercation, causing marks and scratches to her forehead. Lamoris Stoddard was released from the Johnson Detention Center on a paid bond November 9th.
