In an effort to streamline the state-mandated countywide reassessment that is scheduled for implementation in 2026, the Laurens County Assessor’s Office is working in conjunction with Palmetto Posting, Inc., to review properties located in Laurens County. Part of the review process includes gathering data about these properties in the form of images taken from public roadways. Work on this project is expected to begin as soon as Monday, January 20th.
Please be advised that vehicles belonging to Palmetto Posting, Inc. will be clearly marked and easily recognizable. Agents of Palmetto Posting, Inc., will be able to provide identification as well as an authorization letter from the Laurens County Assessor’s Office, upon request.
