Sonya Adams Announces Her Candidacy For Clinton City Council Ward 1

Sonya Adams has announced her candidacy to represent Clinton City Council Ward 1 in the upcoming election on March 4th, 2025.
Sonya Adams was born and raised in Clinton. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1990.  Adams has one son and tragically loss her 14-year-old daughter to a house fire in 2011.
A Jack of all trades, Adams has worked for the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, PWI now known as AMI Kids, loss prevention for Walmart and Belk, and has spent 13 years a bail bonding agent. Recently Adams opened a bail bonding office in Clinton. She is also a licensed insurance agent.
Adams told WLBG News that she decided to run for Clinton City Council because, “We Need Change.”  She stated , “We Need People that will get answers for the citizens.” She also stated, “I’m your person because, I’m dedicated to helping my community grow. We need to bring businesses here so we can have jobs and grow our city. If You vote for me, Sonya Adams, on March 4th you won’t be disappointed.” The election for Clinton City Council Ward 1 will take place March 4th
