- Girls: Hawks 65 – Saints 14… I have often heard the old saying “somedays you get the bear and other days the bear gets you”… Last night the bear in the form of the Greenwood Christian Hawks “got” the Lady Saints as they rolled to a 65-14 win… They led 31-4 after 8 minutes of play and then rolled on to the win to improve their record to 8-2 on the season… The saints were led in scoring by Kendra Wilson who scored 6 points… Kynil English scored 4 points, and both Aly Jeter and Olivia Weaver both had 2 points… The saints are now 4-7 on the season.
- Boys: Hawks 82 – Saints 72… The news is also not good for Saints fans where the boys are concerned as they fell to the Hawks by a score of 82-72 in a game that had little defense… The Hawks led 35-33 at the half and then went on and outscored the Saints 45-39 in the second half to take the win… The saints had three players scoring in double-digits as KJ Singleton finished with a game-high 29 points, Zaylen Washington 22 and Jacob Wilson 14… Also scoring for the Saints Malik Anderson scored 5 points and Parker Workman 2… The Hawks are now 13-6 on the season while the Saints are 3-9
