- Boys: Griffins 53 – Red Devils 52… In boys’ action, I hate to have to report that the Red Devils lost a tough one as they led 44-41 going into the start of the final 8 minutes of the game only to go cold and have some free throw shooting problems as the Griffins outscored them 12-8 down the stretch to take a 53-52 win scoring the winning points with less than 50 seconds left in the game and then keeping the Red Devils off the scoreboard… The Red Devils were led in scoring by Tushawan Richardson who scored 22 points and Nyterian Smith who was also in double-digits with 12 points… Kylen Calhoun finished with 8 points, Devin Swindler 4 while both Khari Vance and Zy’Darrion Butler scored 3 points each… The Red Devils are now 9-6 overall and 3-1 in region play while the Griffins are 9-6 overall and 4-0 in region play

- Boys: Knights 44 – Crusaders 35… I wish I could report that the Crusader boys’ team also won last night but I can’t as the Knights took a 44-35 win… The Crusaders actually led 7-3 after 8 minutes of play but in the second quarter the Knights mounted a comeback and led 17-14 at the half… The Crusaders tried to comeback in the second half, but turnovers became a problem as they just could not gain ground on the Night though they tried hard and never gave up… The Crusaders were led in scoring by Braydon Burke and Garrison Vaugh who both finished with 12 points each… Also scoring for the Crusaders Garrett Murphy had 6 points, Micha Strait 3 and Elijah Hornberger 2… The Crusaders are now 6-11 overall and 0-1 in region play while the Knights are now 4-9 overall and 2-0 in region play.
