- Friday, 3-21-25… Baseball host Westside at 6:30 pm
Clinton HS
- Softball up Next… The Red Devils are now 3-4 overall and 0-1 in region play and will travel to Mid-Carolina today.
- Baseball up Next… The Red Devil varsity baseball team is now 4-3 overall and 0-1 in region play on the season and will travel to Mid-Carolina tonight (3-21) for a 7:30 pm rematch with the Rebels.
- Golf: Clinton 161 – Union 191… Back on Tuesday the Red Devil golf team hosted the Union County Yellow Jackets out at Lakeside CC… The Red Devils won their third match of the season as they defeated the Yellow Jackets 161-191… Luke Murray led the Red Devils with a 36 and was the match medalist… To see what the other Red Devils and Yellow Jackets shot, click here.
Laurens
- Softball: Westside 18 – Raiders 8 (5)… The Raider softball team traveled to Anderson last night to take on the Westside Rams who they defeated 10-9 back on Tuesday… Last night was a different story as the Rams took an 18-8 win in 5 innings… The Raiders actually scored a run in the top of the 1st inning but going into the bottom of the 3rd inning the Rams led 5-4… In the 3rd inning the Rams broke the game open scoring 9 runs and adding another in the 4th inning… The Raiders scored 4 runs in the top of the 5th inning to make the score 15-8 Rams only to have the Rams score 3 runs in the bottom of the inning to give themselves a 10 run lead that ended the game…The Rams only out hit the Raiders 15-12 but the Raiders did have 3 errors in the game and 3 Raider pitchers walked 7 Rams while the Rams had no errors and their pitcher did not have any walks… Carly Edwards led the Raider offense going 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI from the leadoff spot… Addison Trevino, Summer Nations, Myleigh Robertson and Emily Dutton each had 2 hits for the Raiders… To see the box score of the game click here and to see the scorecard to see how the runs were scored click here.
- Softball up Next… The Raiders are 5-4overall and 3-1 in the region and will travel to JL Mann next Wednesday (3-26).
- Baseball up Next… The Raiders will host Westside tonight at 6:30 pm for the rubber game of the three-game series and we do plan on brining you the game here on Real Radio WLBG.
- Golf: Laurens 177 – Emerald 205… Back on Wednesday the Raider boys’ golf team traveled to Greenwood to take on the Emerald Vikings… Good news for Raider fans as the team improved its record to 3-2 by taking a 177-205 win over the Vikings… Michael Hamby and Landon James both shot a 43 to lead the Raiders… For more information on this match, click here… Their next match will be against Wren at Southern Oaks next Tuesday, 3-25-25

Men’s March Madness Bracket… For those of you who missed the March Madness Announcement show last night if you click here it will carry you to the NCAA website where the official bracket is located… The bracket is interactive so you can click on games of interest for more information…Of interest to local fans:
- McNeese 69 – Clemson 67… The # 5 seeded Clemson Tigers fell to the #12 seeded McNeese 69-67 in and upset yesterday in Providence, RI… The Cowboys led 31-13 at the half and Clemson tried to comeback in the last 8 minutes of the game outscoring the Cowboys 38-18 but fell just short… For more information on this game click here… The Tigers end their season with a27-7 record the most wins for a Tiger team in the school’s history.
- Tennessee 77 – Wofford 62… The Wofford Terriers also saw their season come to an end last night as they fell #2 seeded Tennessee up in Lexington, KY… The Terriers trailed 36-27 at the half and the Volunteers were just topo strong for them to come back on… For more information on this game, click here…. The Terriers end their season with a 19-16 record and won the SoCon Championship despite being a #6 seed coming into the SoCon Tournament.
