- Baseball: Mid-Carolina 7 – Clinton 6… The Red Devil baseball also traveled to Mid-Carolina to take on the Rebels… I hate to have to report that they came up on the short side of a 7-6 score but they never stopped tying as a comeback attempt in the 7th inning fell just a little bit short… The Red Devils trailed 1-0 go9ng into the top of the 2nd inning where they scored 3 runs and added another one in the 3rd inning to make the score 4-1 Red Devils… That would be the last they scored until the 7th inning… The Rebels took the lead in the 5th inning and led 7-4 going into the top of the 7th inning… There Camden Finley led off with a double and Brett Young drew a walk and both scored by way of a passed ball and during strike out to make the score 7-6 Rebels but could get no closer as the tying run was left stranded at third base… The Rebels outhit the Red Devils 8-6 and all their hits were singles except for one homerun…No Red Devil had over 1 hit but Camden Finley, Luke Young and Jarred Willards hits were doubles… To see the box score of the game click here and to see the scorecard to see how the runs were scored click here….
