December 4, 2019: The Annual Awards Banquet where the All-Laurens County Team was recognized as well as the Coach of the Year (Chris Liner of LDHS) and the Player of the Year (Duane Martin of LDHS). The guest speaker was Sam Wyche former NFL player and coach who despite his recent health problems gave a very uplifting talk motivating all in attendance not just the athletes. . Click here to view.

NOTE: Camp registration close the Friday before the camp starts and financial assistance is available (members and non-members) for those who complete the application for assistance and qualify prior to registering for camp. Junior Lifeguard… July 1-3, 9:00 – 11:30 am, Ages 12-15… This course will teach water safety and introduce participants to the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard… It will build a foundation of knowledge, attitude and skills in preparation for the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course.
Juggling… July 1-3, 9:00 – 11:30 am, Ages 7-12… Juggling offers an opportunity for youth to learn unique shills that combine both athleticism and artistry… This camp encourages individual and group achievement with potential for growth in dexterity, confidence and friendships!
Ultimate Frisbee… July 9-11, 6:00 – 8:30 pm, Ages 12-21… Ultimate Frisbee is an exciting non-contact team sport that is afcst paced game where players develop sharp throwing skills, stamina and agility!
Babysitting… July 16-18, 9:00 – 11:30 am, Ages 12-15… This camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of safety and childcare. It will provide instruction on teaching basic first aid emergencies, performing choke-saving procedures, handling fire and safety emergencies, age-appropriate activities and telephone techniques.
Archery… July 23-25, 9:00.-11:00 am, Ages 7-15… Ready, aim, fire! Campers will learn the basic skills of archery, shooting targets, and learned different styles of shooting. The camp will be instructed by Ed Prescott. Spaces are limited for this camp!
Soccer Camp… July 29-August 1, Ages 5-9 at 9-11 am, Ages 15 and up at 6:00-8:00 pm… Goal! Take your soccer skills to the next level! Campers will participate in soccer drills to improve their skills in passing, dribbling and shooting! This camp will be at Collyar Park.
Adult/Team Archery… July 30 -August 1, 6:00-8:30 p.m., Ages 15 and up… Take your archery skills to the next level with your friend! Join this camp and participate in field archery, focusing on shooting at live size-models of game! No range-finders allowed.

2018 Elite Women’s Basketball Camps… Saturday, June 23 and Saturday, August 4, 2018
These camps are open to all girls who will be in grades 7-12 this next school year… The goal of the camps is to provide excellent instruction, promote the love of the game, and create an environment which fosters a lifetime of memories while improving the campers’ skills through drills and game play… The cost is $50 and you can find more information about the camp including online registration by clicking here.
Academy Showcase Soccer Camps… June 29- July 1 and July 27-29
These camps are for high are for rising high school freshman – seniors… The camps are intended to put college-bound elite high school soccer player in the best possible environment in this intense three-day camp… During the day, camper will be in high-level technical and tactical training session conducted by the Presbyterian College staff or other high level college coaches from the area… In the evening players will be coached and evaluated in 11 v 11 match play…Each day of camp features coaches who will educate campers on topics including: strength and conditioning, college recruiting, and what it is like to be an NCAA Division 1 athlete…. Individual Basketball Camp… August 6-9, 2018
Half Day Camp for ages 5-6, 9AM-12PM ($120) & Full Day Camp for ages 7-15, 9AM-3PM ($200) … The PC men’s basketball staff is having its first individual skills camp where they will focus on developing fundamentals while also incorporating team competition! .. Once again this summer the Clinton Family YMCA is offering a fill slate of summer camps that cover a wide range of sports. The camps they will be offering (in the order that they will be held) are basketball, volleyball, football, tennis, baseball, T-Ball, cheer, soccer, dance and softball at a date yet to be determined.
