At last night’s Laurens City Council Meeting ,council unanimously approved an ordinance to amend the Business License Ordinance of the City of Laurens to update it to state regulations.
In other voting, council refused to suspend the requirement for in person voting.
which would allow Councilor Alicia Sullivan to vote by phone, since she did not allow sufficient notice that she would not be able to attend the meeting.
